The main ingredient. |
This is the ingredient to make the pajeon. 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 100g green onions, 50g dried shrimp, 100g prawn, a cup of water (or more if the batter is too thick), 1 egg, 1/2 teaspoon salt and a tablespoon of sugar.
So, the first thing we do is to combine the flour, salt, sugar and egg. Mix them until well combined, then pour in the water a bit by bit. Mix well. Make sure the batter is not too thin nor thick.
Then, you can put the green onion and the dry shrimp. Mix well.
This is how the batter look like when it's ready to be put into the pan. ;p
This one is for my brother because he doesn't like prawn. |
Then, heat a tablespoon of vegetable or olive oil in your pan. And then, using a medium-sized soup ladle, scoop the batter and spread it into your pan. Before that make sure your pan is hot enough, so that your pajeon did not stick to the pan.
This is how the pajeon looks like after we flip it. Just wait for few more minutes and it will be ready to be served.
This one is mine. I love prawn. |
For those who love seafood, you can add any seafood that you like. For me, I like prawn the best. So when you pour the batter into the pan, you just need to decorate the seafood onto your batter.
